These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of www.femonomic.com (the "Site"), an online publication operated by Luvy and based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada ("Femonomic", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information only

Content on the Site is published for general information, discussion and educational purposes only. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial or other advice. Please read our Disclaimer.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• use the Site in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, damage or disrupt the Site or its systems;

• introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;

• scrape, copy or reproduce content in bulk by automated means without our permission;

• send spam, or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, infringing or misleading.

3. Ownership and permitted use of content

The Site's design, branding and content are owned by Femonomic or by the individual authors who wrote them, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read and share links to our content, and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the original article. You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit content from the Site without written permission.

4. Articles and contributor content

Femonomic publishes work by independent writers and guest contributors. Contributors are responsible for their own work and opinions, and the views expressed in an article are those of its author and do not necessarily reflect the views of Femonomic.

By submitting content to Femonomic, you confirm that it is your original work (or that you have the right to submit it), that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights, and that it is not defamatory or unlawful. You keep ownership of your work, and you give Femonomic a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to edit it for clarity, publish it on the Site, and share and promote it in our newsletter and on our social media channels. We may decline, edit or remove content that does not meet these Terms or our editorial standards.

5. Publishing plans

Femonomic offers optional paid publishing plans. Current plans, prices, what each plan includes and expected publication times are described on our Publish your story page. Payments are made through PayPal payment links. The fee covers editorial and publishing services; it does not transfer ownership of your work, and published pieces remain subject to these Terms. As stated on the Publish your story page, if we reject a submission because of plagiarism, you will receive a full refund. For questions about a plan or an order, contact getpublished@femonomic.com.

6. Advertising and sponsored content

The Site may display advertising in the future. If we publish sponsored content, or enter into paid promotional or affiliate relationships, we will disclose them clearly where applicable. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for products or services offered by advertisers.

7. External links and third-party services

The Site contains links to third-party websites and uses third-party services such as Hostinger, Google and PayPal. We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, products or practices. A link to another website is not an endorsement. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

8. No warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". While we aim to keep content accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that the Site or its content is complete, accurate, current or error-free, or that the Site will always be available or free of viruses.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Femonomic and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. By continuing to use the Site after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of the place where you live.
